Diagnosis & Treatment
Bumrungrad International Hospital’s Women’s Center and OB/GYN Facilities include 10 purpose-designed private consultation suites with private exam areas and bathrooms for patient use. The following centers are available on location at the Bumrungrad International campus:
Complete Diagnostic Center for Women
- Ultrasound diagnostics
- Digital mammography
- Thin prep cytology which is a special procedure for PAP smears that increases the accuracy and early detection of cancer
- Bone densitometry for measuring bone density and checking for osteoporosis
- Laparoscopic surgery facility
- Colposcopy
Fertility Center: Dedicated to applying the most modern and advanced technology and expertise to couples needing special help to conceive
- IUI (Intrauterine Insemination): This process involves placing sperm directly inside a women’s uterus to facilitate fertilization
- IVF (In Vitro Fertilization): This process involves an egg being fertilized by sperm outside a women’s body in a laboratory. The fertilized egg (embryo) is then implanted into a women’s uterus to cause pregnancy

Obstetrics Center: Consisting of six labor & delivery rooms equipped to allow mothers to experience childbirth in a safe, calm, and comfortable environment

Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
A Level IIID NICU provides 24-hour care for babies requiring intensive care. The unit is staffed by a team of US-trained neonatologists and nurses.

Thai Laws and Regulations Involved with Fertility Treatment:
- Couples who would like to have fertility treatment must possess an official certificate of marriage and have been married for at least 3 years. The official certificate of marriage must be translated into English and certified by a trustworthy organization in their country such as a District Office, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and so forth. Some Embassies in Thailand do not certify the official certificate of marriage for patients.
